By downloading, installing, or using The Gambit: Tavern Styled Dice, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. User accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must provide accurate information
  • One account per person
  • We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us
  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

4. In-app purchases

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law
  • Prices are subject to change
  • Virtual currency and items have no real-world value
  • Purchases are tied to your platform account (Apple/Google)
  • If you delete your account, all in-app purchases and virtual items are permanently lost and cannot be recovered or refunded
  • We recommend considering this carefully before deleting your account

5. User conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Cheat, hack, or use unauthorised third-party software
  • Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other players
  • Impersonate others
  • Use offensive usernames or content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the app

6. Intellectual property

  • All content, graphics, code, and design are owned by us
  • Gameplay rules are in the public domain
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute app content

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Compatibility with all devices
  • That bugs will be fixed
  • Continued availability of features

8. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of data or game progress
  • Device damage
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Issues caused by third-party services

9. Updates and changes

  • We may update the app at any time
  • Updates may change features or require additional permissions
  • Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance
  • We may discontinue the app at any time

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access if you:

  • Violate these terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Abuse the app or other users

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by South African law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
